Canido Sailing Club
Canido Sailing Club was founded in 1969 with the main objective of promoting water sports in the area. In the 1970s an Optimist fleet was acquired and the Club buildings and facilities were built in 1971.
During the summer more than 150 students, both members and non-members, attend courses at the sailing school. Many are from the area but there are also people who spend the summer here from different Autonomous Communities in Spain. The Club is now one of the top ten in Galicia for water sports. Its main activities are a sailing school which is open all year round and during the summer holidays there are courses for adults.
