Monument to Laxeiro
This monument is the work of Xurxo Vázquez and was unveiled in 1997. It is located at the junction of the streets Policarpo Sánz and Reconquista, in the city centre. It is a bust of Don José Otero Abeledo "Laxeiro", the well-known painter from Vigo (although born in Lalín). A collection of Laxeiro’s work can be seen at the Casa de las Artes Gallery.
