This work dates from 1991 and is by one of the key figures in twentieth century Galician art, Ramón Conde. It is located at the start of the avenue Gran Vía and shows seven fishermen dragging a fishing net out of the sea, represented by the fountain.
It is a tribute to all those who work on the sea. It measures 8.50 metres in length, 2.50 high and 3 wide.
