This sculpture is by Cándido Pazos López and was unveiled in June 2006. It is composed of a dark-coloured stone block measuring about 8m in height and 1.20m wide. It is sculpted in a spiral with a jade rosette, like a type of wave.
It is situated at the square beside the Fishing Port (Plaza del Puerto Pesquero), at the foot of the San Francisco wall. It also bears a plaque with the names of fishermen lost at sea.
