O Progreso Market
The central O Progreso market is located where the old food market stood in the early 20th century and it has maintained its traditional feel. It may be the most famous and busiest market square in Vigo, due to its excellent location in the Ensanche, and it was the first to add a supermarket to facilitate shopping and attract more customers.
Tips and recommendations:
The MARCO Museum and Príncipe Street are a few steps from the market, so there’s no shortage of cultural and shopping options.
