This is the only bread which has a label protecting its geographical origin (Indicación Geográfica Protegida). It is made in the town land of San Cristovo de Cea, in the northwest of the province of Ourense. It is handmade from wheat flour in a stone oven and this makes the bread white with a wheaty taste and a golden crispy crust. Each roll of bread may weigh up to 1.5kg.
