Galician Ham
Pork is one of the types of meat most consumed in Galicia. These cured hams come from the fore legs of certain breeds of pig. The meat is pink in colour and with a mild, slightly salty taste. During breeding the pigs are nourished with utmost care using natural products in almost all areas of the region. The hams usually weigh between 4 and 5 kg.
