Honey-making is common all over Galicia, and depending on the climate and the area there are several different types made from various flowers, chestnut, eucalyptus and bramble. Multi-flower honey has a mild taste and is light is colour; chestnut honey is stronger in taste, slightly salty and darker in colour; honey from eucalyptus is a yellow-orange colour and honey from bramble is dark in colour, and sweeter and stronger than the others.
