Avenidas City Walk
This walk goes along the recently redeveloped port and marina area. There are gardens and nearby cafes, restaurants, parking facilities etc. As we stroll along here we see a statue to Elduayen or the recent sculpture of Jules Verne.
Just up from this area is the Alameda Park which was built at the end of the 19th century. It is lovely to take a walk in the gardens, with its fountains. As you walk, you may come across several curious animal figures and sculptures. These are mainly the work of Camilo Nogueira and the sculptor and artist Luis Medina.
