This walk is on two levels. One is very near the shoreline and the other is higher up so there is a beautiful view of the city and the bay. For centuries A Guía Hill was used to guide the boats and ships into port. At the top there is a small chapel dedicated to Our Lady of the Snows (Nuestra Señora de las Nieves).
The whole walk is just 1km in length. There is a nearby bar, a city bus stop, drinking fountains, gardens and wooded areas mainly of pine and oak. There is also an area for fishing, a rowing club and some small beaches.
