Fortiñón Beach

A natural beach for young people

Fortiñón Beach (or Saians Beach) is a lively beach for young people where you can sunbathe nude. It’s also one of Vigo’s most beautiful beaches: 500 feet long, 100 feet wide and with guaranteed waves all year round. However, it has the advantage of being sheltered from the wind in summer.

It’s one of the most naturally beautiful and wildest beaches, accessed by climbing down a steep hill and flanked by vegetation. Nonetheless, it has amenities such as showers, lifeguard service on summer weekends and a beach bar!

Tips and recommendations:

Don’t drive down to the sand, there’s a car park next to the road. It's small, so we recommend you arrive early or take the urban bus.

A few miles away, you’ll find Vigo’s first forest park, Saiáns Forest Park, which has several hiking trails with excellent views of the estuary.

It’s a nudist beach, like A Fontaíña.
