Vigo was presented at FITUR 2026 as a vibrant, dynamic and surprising tourist destination to enjoy throughout the year. Under the slogan “Vigo, Christmas 365 days a year”, the city invites visitors to discover a unique experience that combines tradition, modernity and fun in every season.

With a calendar full of cultural and sporting events, Vigo offers activities for everyone: the urban atmosphere of O Marisquiño, the excitement of RC Celta matches at Balaídos Stadium, the open-air concerts at Castrelos, and a constant programme that turns every visit into a different experience.

The city also stands out for its natural surroundings, its Atlantic character, its safety and quality of life, as well as a wide gastronomic, shopping and leisure offer that invites visitors to stroll and enjoy at a relaxed pace.

Vigo is also establishing itself as a film and television location thanks to the Vigo Film Office, which promotes the city as an authentic open-air film set. Productions such as Romería, by Carla Simón, help showcase Vigo to the world through a cultural and contemporary lens.
